The school provides a broad curriculum that encourages and facilitates the development of each child to his or her full potential. Each child has an Individual Education plan  & Individual Behaviour Support Plan.

We endeavour to do this in a positive, caring, warm environment, where our children are respected, nurtured and encouraged. A range of teaching methods are employed within the school – ABA, TEACCH, PECs etc.

We work with the Curriculum set out by the Department of Education & Skills, including the Curriculum relevant to Mild, Moderate & Severe/Profound learning abilities.

Post Primary: Junior Cycle Level 1 and Level 2.

Senior Cycle Programme.

Subjects include:

  • Language & Communication
  • Maths
  • SPHE (A range of life skills etc)
  • SESE (Geography, History, Science)
  • Visual Arts (Art, Drama, Music)
  • Physical Education
  • Irish is available to those students eligible for same.

This year our Junior Cert Level 2 classes will commence work on their respective short courses, these include Caring for Animals, Drama & Music in my life, Around the world in 80days, Food Glorious Food.
